Humor & Society is offered as a Humanities and as an Elective credit. In this class we will explore how we use humor in life situations, as well as taking a look at how humor has changed over the course of time. Students will research a variety of comedians who appear in various media including vaudeville, stage, stand up, film, TV, and movies.
Learning to analyze and compare methods and effects of humor will be emphasized, along with having a good laugh with fellow students. |
